COMU
Signature Series

Four Events. One Extraordinary Year.

At The Columbus Museum, we believe the best experiences are the ones we share!

Our four-event Signature Series brings together art, history, culture, fashion, gardens, food, music, and—most importantly—people. Across very different events, we’ll invite our community to experience the Museum in new ways, make memories with friends, and celebrate all that makes Columbus such a special place to live.

Your support helps make possible the exhibitions, educational programs, collection care, and community experiences that bring the Museum to life—all while giving you and your guests the opportunity to enjoy four memorable occasions together.

THE 2026–2027 SIGNATURE SERIES

The Grand Heist: A Roaring ’20s Whodunit Party

Thursday, October 29, 2026

An exclusive private unveiling has been arranged, and a priceless work of art will be on display under the watchful eye of Museum security. They’ve assured us there’s nothing to worry about … we certainly hope they’re right.

Step into the glamour of the Roaring ’20s for an evening of cocktails, delicious fare, music, and mystery. Don your finest Jazz Age attire and explore the Museum as you uncover clues, encounter suspicious characters, and become part of an unforgettable whodunit culminating in a thrilling theatrical finale worthy of the silver screen.

High Tea in the Gallery

Thursday, February 11, 2027

Join us for an afternoon of beauty, history, and a little old-fashioned elegance. The experience begins with a curator-led tour of the Finials & Fluting: American Decorative Arts, exploring the craftsmanship, artistry, and stories behind the beautiful and functional works from the Watson Collection.. Afterwards, settle in for an elegant high tea served right in the gallery. Delicate bites, fine teas, and live harp music set the scene for an afternoon inspired by the grace and charm of a bygone era.

A Night in the Garden

Friday, March 19, 2027

There’s something special about an evening at the Museum when the sun begins to set.

Join us in the Bradley Olmsted Garden for a relaxed night of BBQ, live blues, specialty cocktails, and plenty of fun. Enjoy yard games beneath the trees, cast your vote for the evening’s “People’s Choice” cocktail, and dance the night away on the Hand Family Terrace.

Picnic baskets will also be available for preorder for those who would like to make the evening an especially memorable alfresco experience.

Bring your friends, settle in, and enjoy a night in the garden.

Threads

Join us in May 2027 for COMU’s season finale event — an evening celebrating the intersection of fashion, art, and textile history. Inspired by our year of textile-focused exhibitions, this special event will bring together creative voices, dynamic programming, and a vibrant after-hours atmosphere.

More details and special guests to be announced.
