This exhibition features well-known figures of the 20th century such as Gertrude “Ma” Rainey and Darby & Tarlton alongside local folk singers and rock bands. Recording technologies and instruments are highlighted through both artifacts and digital content. The Chattahoochee Folk Festival, organized for years by this Museum, also receives a special look back. This project was co-curated by Dr. Reba Wissner’s Fall 2023 Music and Identity class at Columbus State University.
