Third Floor Galleries

Museums are, by nature, collecting institutions, but most only have the capacity to publicly display about ten percent of their holdings at any particular time. This exhibition provides the opportunity to retrieve old favorites and new acquisitions from storage, as well as works that have rarely—or never—been on view. The show will also address some “behind the scenes” mechanics of day-to-day curatorial operations.
